Not gonna waste time hating on the guy but I agree. Particularly with that stupid ball incident going on, he's got nothing to complain about.

I get that it woulda been frustrating that Ponga's late raid got shut down, (May?) caught their wizard match winning kick on the full and then our last set wound down the clock.

HOWEVER... whadda you think happened to us the last 2 weeks mate? Catching teams is awesome but you're not 'robbed' just because you get close then notice a few blue veins in the 12" Cuban you're pretentiously drawing from. Knights were only in it because their ground staff hid the ball, preventing us from doing a drop-out in time. Maybe if they'd played footy instead of being cheap see you next Tuesdays then they woulda had a better chance of SCORING instead of getting a freebie via a technicality?

What comes around goes around. Smelly Boy got a mad line break but it was shut down by good defence (and nobody was with him for an offload...etc despite them having numbers/momentum!) The refs can lead a pommie backpacker kitted up as Lancelot to water but he's gotta drink it by himself!!!

and the sad (but far from unexpected) part is sections of the media gave air to o'brien's complaints. if the ref blows a penalty for lying on ponga they probably go for a goal that wasn't a gimme. as it was the play spread out left and they had the numbers to win the game but weren't up to it. the non-penalty gave them the chance to win the game within the 80
