The Storm will be in contention at the pointy end of the year which people seem to forget - The Roosters tried hard but the execution let them down and the Storm defended well especially marking the main Roosters players in numbers as far as attack goes - slippery ground and the 5 tries came from kicks- Possession - Storm 52% - Roosters 48%
- Set Completions - Roosters 80% ( 32/40) - Storm 73% (33/45)
- Line Breaks - Storm 6 - Roosters 1
- Tackles - Roosters 359 ( 48 missed tackles) - Storm 326 (29 missed tackles)
- Errors - Roosters 12 - Storm 12
- Penalties Conceded - Roosters 12 - Storm 10
- Set Restarts Conceded - Roosters 2 - Storm 1

Simple ball drop after contact on a short side run 10m out that turned over possession.
A kick that no one knew was coming on 3rd tackle 5m out that turned over possession.
A trip on the fullback 10m out that turned over possession that ultimately resulted in the game winning try.
Not a good night for Teddy, expect more from a senior leader, he was at the heart of a lot of our issues.

a lot of players play well with the scraps they have, manu, tupou, Angus etc.
but the lack of quality halves means they have to keep playing with scraps.
Imagine Cleary and luai or any other decent half pairing with this backline, the would carve up.
we have to be stuck with the human embodiment of a crab in half back who refuses to run straight and to let sam walker take hold of this team.
cant wait for another disappointing chat from either keary about how it wasnt good enough. Its been 4 years, maybe your just not good enough anymore.
When Keary Retires - Sandon Smith should be the 7 - Organising and game managing half and Sam Walker a running 5/8 - No use trying to turn Sam Walker into something he isn't.
Early days only with 7 rounds gone - very much knee jerk reactions after a close loss.

Just back fro game. Defensively we looked sound. Our attack was impotent. Every close call officiating wise went against us.
This team needs changes but I highly doubt the coach will make themWhen you trust your television

they can bend it all they want

The too and throw there wasn’t anything in it really. Line breaks were the main diff, but generally the game was even.
i thought the Storm looked a little more likely but the reality is that there were two dodgy calls on the storms tries and it was only kicks that hit the points.
Be nice to get them one day!!!
Again, they are a big team across the park.. we didn’t look like penetrating them similar to the Penrith game.

Now where have we heard that the last few years?
Let's face it - We really aren't much of a threat once again it would seem.
Definitely not a top 4 team.

Literally our last roll of the dice. I woulda preferred it if we'd attempted a crazy cutout pass on the 2nd and dropped it insteada doing 5 boring hit-ups and a bomb to the left winger. What were we expecting there?!?!?
Teddy can give himself an uppercut for that kick on the 2nd too.
Not saying our overall game was shyte. As a fan I'm proud of most of it (and yes the ref was shyte as expected - also all the Drizz' tries had question-marks IMO whereas ours were all genius tries). However the polish wasn't there when it was needed. I say genius tries from us because but for some ridiculous individual talent from outside backs, neither of those tries were on.
We are well off it at the moment. The positive is that we have players who can score these genius tries as you say.

but expecting to lose as this team has barely changed last couple years.
they'll knock on at the most critical point and then bugger up good attacking sets with bad decisions“Soon will the present day order be rolled up, and a new one spread out in its stead”- (Baha’u’llah)

There are tries to be had by running Whyte and May at pace at the tryline out wide.
