    Excuse time is over.

If we cant match them in most departments or if we come out fumbling & bumbling & looking ordinary like previous Panthers & Dogs games then it's clear we aren't a threat this year.
How would you rate our spine vs the Storm and Panthers?

    I'd go

    1. Panthers
    2. Storm
    3. Roosters

I'd put the Storms spine at #1. Penrith have the luxury of a better pack and are stronger in a few other areas, but the Storms 9, 6, 7 & 1 are the best combo.

      1 Storm
      2. Panthers
      3. Roosters

Not quite. Apparently he was told to lose weight over the off-season, and came back heavier than he was. He's not in Bellyaches good books.

He has averaged 123m in his couple of games in Reggies. I would expect a fair bit more from him in NSW Cup.

          Yeah I'd probably agree.

That said, we have potential to be #1. We're just not showing it!!! It's bot as if we have a shyte spine, they're just not performing.

I wonder if it is an omen that a storm is happening right now just hours before we play the Storm.

I take your point but Cleary is the best 7 in the comp playing the most important and influential position so I still rate the Panthers spine as number 1. Cleary's Grand Final performance puts him up there with the all time greats! It's easy to forget however worthwhile watching the 2023 grand final again. It was a true masterclass when the stakes were high!

II would rate Parramatta at full strength spine to be marginally better than ours, As much as I hate Moses he’s better than our halves by a wide margin.

It's certainly been very apparent how important he is to their team. I may be rather partisan but I still rate ours above them.

Hey mate I tend to agree. I can't remember the last time all 4 players fired together.

Teddy - On the decline. Can break a game wide open however overplays his hand too often.
                    Keary - Hot and cold
Walker - He's still very green.
The Cheese - Playing well this season however he's not an 80 minute player.

I live down the south coast these days and this is my top 3 Pie shops/ Bakery's

We are down many troops but still have a good 17 and maybe backs against the wall we can turn up
storm have had all close games, there spine is better but Munster still working his way into the season
                      expecting a close battle
will be less then 6 either way
I’m leaning towards us as we may be more desperate being 3 from 7 won’t be a great start
also sandon smith, walker, sitili, Wong and young all back in contention next week so guys will need to play well to keep spots
                      chooks by 6

Milton is top shelf for food experiences. Have you been to the restaurant at Milton Hotel? Food is sensational.

I like playing Melbourne. Although, they are a quality team they give you a chance if you're good enough. Less smother and niggle like a Raiders or Sharks (prev version). Having said that if we are low on energy they could still spank us.

Teddy back with some freshness spells danger for them. Can't get excited with two Butchers in the 17, and our bench lacks a bit of bite. Although, T May could again be a wild card for us. Outstanding last week.

If we can win this, it's a big momentum shifter in the trajectory of our season.

Munster is playing with injury, and will continue with it all year, get some pressure on him early, and run at him as often as possible
