Teddy - On the decline. Can break a game wide open however overplays his hand too often.
Keary - Hot and cold
Walker - He's still very green.
The Cheese - Playing well this season however he's not an 80 minute player.

Always hard to beat Storm. They are not only good at footy, they are the best at grubbiness, slowing down the PTB and milking penalties and lying down.
Robbo's "honorable" roosters footy style of not laying down or milking penalties does not work in our favour. When, if ever, will he learn that? We are still the most hated club, and the most targeted by the NRL and refs. As previously noted, all the refs grew up loving league, and like all the opposition fans they all hated Easts. And still do, albeit unconsciously by some of them.
The squeaky wheel gets greased - or not - but you gotta squeak. It's pathetic, but every single other team does it. Even if we do it, we'll still only get half the calls we should, but it will be an improvement.
There is no end of season "did not lie down or milk penalties" adjustment factor to the competition table.
I thought I saw in Robbo's last presser some simmering resentment of how we are targeted by the NRL (with their "warning letter" for even mentioning Victor's ridiculous sin bin for a non existent hip drop, and the fact that many tackles like Dom Young's are not sent off), MRC and onfield refs. He's even referenced it before - "we never get any help" - and unlike Adam O'Brien he's got plenty of stats to back it up.
This lot in charge now, Abdo and VLandys, are a particularly nasty bunch. But they deserve to be taken on.
Please Robbo, coach your players to get all the onfield advantage they can. In the Vlandys Ball era of six agains, you just can't withstand lopsided possession like your champ teams prior to 2020 could.

Love Roosters v Storm. Some great moments. The first half of 2018 GF was flawless Roosters. Keary owning Kaufusi, brilliant! Even last years semi final loss was a gutsy effort and showed what we stood for. Hopefully more to come to night.
Be nice to see an improved defensive effort tonight though, comes down to attitude. Recent efforts have been embarrassing. After LA , like many, I thought here we go but we haven't come close to replicating that. We can do it though, c'mon boys, make a statement tonight.
Up the Roosters!

The Roosters have not defeated the Storm since 2019.
The Storm have won eight of their past nine games against the Roosters.
Storm winger Xavier Coates has scored seven tries in his past three games against the Roosters.
#####
And he'll score four tries tonite if the Roosters winger who's supposed to be marking him is wandering around infield somewhere when he comes thundering down the sideline.

I'd go
1. Panthers
2. Storm
3. Roosters
Storm 1st by a country mile
Roosters 2nd
Panthers 3rd
Kenny is no more than average on a good day … Cleary is the most professional/savviest 7 but also robotic (always gets owned come Origin) … Luai is brilliant on his day but mercurial … Edwards is high energy and rarely disappoints … but no one would ever call him number 1

Teddy back with some freshness spells danger for them. Can't get excited with two Butchers in the 17, and our bench lacks a bit of bite. Although, T May could again be a wild card for us. Outstanding last week.
If we can win this, it's a big momentum shifter in the trajectory of our season.

Nelson is the best front rower going … but the Storm literally have no one else of any consequence up front (Welch is a great character but well overrated) … our pack is better and considerably more balanced
Let’s see it tonight
