Pretty well marked all the game the Roosters key players in attack - Tedesco, Keary and Manu for an example - wasn't that they were not trying -Storm had 2 or 3 players on them as soon as they got the ball every time.

So many other teams play with depth, and their backlines are running onto the ball when they catch it, we seem to play flat, and by the time it gets to our centers, there is no room to give it to our wingers.

like they run up to the defence line and people run with them as a team, and can catch when sprinting,

Cause we play like crabs (thx keary) no one can move up and they just receive it flat footed, making us easy pickings and insipid.

Two things I noticed that Melbourne did much better than us tonight were
1. Slow the ruck down big time. (Klien forgot about the 6A rule).
2. Rushing up in defence.

I feel like we are at a tipping point as a club….. something has too give and a major shake up and changes needed.

A Walker /Sandon Smith combo is a must and perhaps Leniu returning might ignite us.

I was trying to pin point when we became an average team, even when Cronk left we were ok with Flanagan. Perhaps Cordner, Friend, Aubo and B Moz leaving as been too much for us to overcome

the inconsistency of this team astonishes - mainly due to the leaders.

a lot of players play well with the scraps they have, manu, tupou, Angus etc.

but the lack of quality halves means they have to keep playing with scraps.

Imagine Cleary and luai or any other decent half pairing with this backline, the would carve up.

we have to be stuck with the human embodiment of a crab in half back who refuses to run straight and to let sam walker take hold of this team.

cant wait for another disappointing chat from either keary about how it wasnt good enough. Its been 4 years, maybe your just not good enough anymore.
