It now has to be his team for the rest of the year and beyond.
He runs it, Kez is the back-up.
Yep, that’s exactly what we saw today and it made a real difference. With the cattle we have to return, we could do anything in this comp, but it relies on our halves being dominant.
A big well done to Sammy Walker, what a show he put on.
I'd like to see Walker told it is his team to lead around the park and let him run with it.
Keary was very strong tonight too, but despite that I'd prefer to see him take a back seat and let Walker take the main role. Keary could go at any time due to his concussion history - not his fault, but it is what it is. So the successful plan has to speed up.
Another great game from Nat Butcher. Needs to be co-captain as soon as possible imo.
I said in another thread how much more dangerous an attack can be with a running halfback. Every player I've bagged out the past few weeks played so much better.
Sam plays such an unstructured game and often the games against Penrith Melbourne etc are tough grinding games and it does not play to his strength . We need to adapt in the big games and let him loose…

I think this is the right option. We play too conservative against the better sides, far too structured to the point that everything we do is telegraphed two plays ahead. Maybe that’s Robbo ‘s grand plan, unleash the team when it really matters, but give us a few teasers along the way. Geez I hope so.
