We have quite a few newish accounts that are obviously rebirths but I don't think any of them are the Kids style. Yes, hoping he is ok.

Actually, the word is well chosen. "Hateful" means full of hate and that is what BBR is suggesting that Les is. He is not saying that Les is "hate-able" though of course he might be.

On Tommy Smith I have a feeling it the game all became too much for him He was good value and I’d like to see him back posting againBorn and bred in the eastern suburbs.

We do need a contributor like Les, his stridency promotes discussion/abuse certainly but he has that passion for success, misguided though it may be. Probably a younger fellow.

I don't see any alternative to Trent. Les' expectations, like a lot of others here, are far too high. The truth is that we have a very good roster but certainly not the best. How do you get a group of young men up for it again after a Premiership especially when they are mostly mercenaries? Penrith, on the other hand, are most of them locals with pride in their district, the colours and the way that they perform. There is also the the fact that they are hero worshiped locally. It is the only side that you could say that about.

Simple fact is we have gone backwards since 2019 … every single year … while the squad has remained one of the best … I do consider it the best these last 2-3 years but there is no point splitting hairs about that when we can’t even get close …. therein lies the source of the criticism of the coach
Some teams just run harder … hit harder … and are better drilled/more disciplined than us … and this has been going on for some time
It is not just tiresome … losing 19 out of 20 games to Melbourne and Penrith … it is wasted opportunity … and we are about to lose a load of talent in the next 1-2 years
And no I’ve seen too many seasons I’d prefer to forget … my expectations are perfectly aligned with the club’s … Roosters played in 5 GFs in the 13 seasons before Robbo arrived … and we have been considered one of the most elite clubs for nigh on 30 years

A bit of an 'accidental' head knock in there wouldn't take away from the experience.
I wouldn’t condone foul play but I wouldn’t mind seeing your wish come true again

It’s great to have a variety of opinions on this forum. Yes I admit to finding your regular Robbo bashing annoying but you have a right to an opinion and I respect that.
Not sure how we’re going to win another or even get close if he can’t match a few other blokes who aren’t going anywhere anytime soon
If I post about that point mostly it is because it is the most critical factor to the club’s success presently

If I could add my thoughts. Penrith even with their 3 premierships, still fly under the radar, quite simply they're not disliked to any great degree by opposing team supporters/clubs. We on the other hand have very little love outside our fraternity, and thus we're the club to beat regardless of how successful our season is, this constant accumulation of pressure takes a toll in cohesion and adherence to game discipline. I think we're adapting and overcoming those pressures.
