  • Good win.......

But don't get carried away, it was only st george/Illawarra. So what is it now.
    win
    Lost
    win
    Lost
    Lost
    Win
    Lost
    Win.

It looks very ordinary. If we beat Brisbane next week it will be our first 2 wins in a row this season which I believe is a must. I can't rate us until we show we can beat Penrith and Melbourne.

Can't disagree with that. Bronx will be up for it but we need to string some back to back wins to solidify our spot in the 8.

Go on Coggy, let people enjoy the win for at least one night before you become the killjoy.

It’s a massive day every year in our clubs calendar, enjoy it.

It's always good putting on 60. Especially against St Merge.

If we can beat the Broncos next week and Penrith and Storm later, I'll get excited. Right now I want consistency.

Good call Ray. Was a fantastic and exciting win. But let’s not get carried away. St George are an absolutely rubbish side.

We are consistently the most inconsistent team in the comp over the last 4 years its frustrating.

It looked good on the scoreboard, and some magical deception from Walker. Defensively though, in the lead up to the Dragons try after halftime:
                    - Crichton strips the ball deep inside Dragon's territory whilst they still have a captain's challenge. I recall this being one of the dumb things Walker did in Sharks game last year before he was dumped.
                    - Cheese attempts a one-on-one Strip 10 metres out on the 5th tackle and Dragons get a repeat set

These are not the actions of a steely defensive team.

Sure but we've had very narrow losses as well. That game against the Dogs, we started mowing them down in the 2nd half. We took that game too easy in the 1st 40 but could easy have won.

The Driz was another game we went toe to toe but remember, Sammy, Dom and Spence all out. They play and the result could've gone way different......we won't ever know.

So let's see what a FULL Chooks side can do next week. But we can't expect a champagne Sammy performance each week because he's gonna be targeted big time......which allows Connor, Dom, Teddy, Manu and Keary to hopefully have less attention. I think we can win the forwards battle against the Ponies and hopefully open up space for the backs.

Yup. We are 4 & 4. If we can go 10 and 5 , our title prospects may change from where we are now

We were 4 and 4 in 2018 as well. It’s fine considering the tough draw we’ve had. If we have enough luck with injuries we’ll finish top 4.

Whether we can beat the panthers is a different question though. Think they are still a long way ahead of everyone.
