How will they feel when we turn him into a reliable, regular, representative premiership winner?

1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.

You want to create a seamless pathway from Junior Reps to NRL and NRLW that will attract the best junior talent who can be developed and provided with the opportunity to play at the highest level.

There is no reason why the Roosters cannot match the Panthers in Junior player development especially with their Academies ( Sydney Roosters . Central Coast Roosters and Roosters NZ Academies ) and partnerships with the Central Coast , Ipswich and Silktails.
I agree King, I hope this is the yellow brick road taken.
        Young Hugo looks the goods.

Adam Douihi, big body 5/8 who can play fullback or centre. Has a Burton kick on him as well. He’ll flourish under proper coaching

Don't hate it but given his injury history I wouldn't sign him on big bucks. We already have enough injury prone players.

With all due respect mate the guy can’t even get on the park let alone flourish under improved coaching..

He is a talent but seems too injury prone

We already have Billy Smith and his injury woes, don’t need another one in the backs!

It's for players who have no ball control.

Wallabies’ five-eighth Carter Gordon is weighing up a code switch
Gordon is off contract with the Rebels and Rugby Australia at the end of the 2024 season.

Munster, Cleary, Walsh are about the only players that could make a drastic difference to our club - and Walsh makes things awkward for Teddy, who I don’t see as being a 5/8.

Otherwise, I think it’ll be creative signings from UK, union, and youngsters from other clubs that’ll be targets. Along with Sandon and a few others getting upgrades and tested for 1-2 seasons before anyone of note is available.

I truly don’t think we expected to lose Manu, who in my view is the biggest loss on talent and succession planning. The one that got away, but hopefully comes back

I don’t watch any Union and know barely anything about the game but I imagine a transitioning to an NRL half would be just about the hardest move a player could make. He’s only 23 so I’d certainly be curious to see how he goes, sounds like the Titans are going after him pretty hard. 700k is the rumoured figure… a massive risk IMO.

Saying that, when we signed Keary I didn’t expect him to become the player and achieve the things he did, so I could be suprised like that again. He was a good player at the time, but certainly not at the level of the three I mentioned - so who knows.

Broncos just announced the re-signing of Billy Walters yesterday, there’s a young kid called Blake Mozer there who may be a little unsettled.

Very good young dummy half, had 3 try assists, 1 linebreak assist, 1 linebreak and 1 try on the weekend in QCup.

Last year he had 8 try assists, 7 tries in 18 games as a dummy half in QCup as an 18 year old.

This is the type of talent I would hope we are interested in.
