It's very interesting when you look at the stats. Both Parramatta and Penrith have a significantly poorer record under Klein than their overall figures, yet Klein is a former Parramatta junior and his old man played for Penrith (John Klein).
You'll also be shocked to learn that we have the worst penalty ratio under Klein than any other team - P:63 For: 205.5* Against: 275.5* Ratio: 0.75.
The next worst is Canterbury at .087. Brisbane sit at 0.96.
*The .5 is because they have allocated .5 to each ref for a penalty awarded under the 2 ref system.Comment

It is what it is. Just about every week we are gonna get Klein and Sutton. My conclusion is that we get them either because we've been identified as an 'advanced' tram that requires more senior refs or because Nick's asked to have the more senior refs for our games.Originally posted by Jarlicho View Post

IMO shyte refs fark us over when we're having shyte seasons because they make us even worse than we are while glorifying our opposition (which is often no better but 'deserves' a leg-up). They also give our opponents a heap of sympathy tries/penalties. However if it's 2013, 2018, 2019...etc then the refs don't matter coz we've got our opponents on the ropes and are hitting them like Iron Mike would. Doesn't matter if corrupt officials take away our points for no reason & look for technicalities to help our opponents when we've just clobbered them with a knock-out blow...Last edited by ism22; 05-02-2024, 06:18 PM.Comment
