Sure it's Friday night in Brissy but frankly, Brissy were a bunch of whinging sooks last time we beat them and I can't see why we should now be their b!atches simply because they made the GF last year.

Screw the bookies. IMO there will be a solid fight and a win in Brissy could be a defining moment for our season.

Some weeks we are unbeatable and usually that's against a top 8 side.
Then we play a bottom 8 team and fall to pieces.

But we have been playing well the last few weeks and seem to be the form team, I'm expecting a comfortable win.

Both of our wingers tower above theirs. They have some nobodies in their forward pack, and a weak bench.

All they really have over us is the speed of Walsh and Mam, and Reynolds kicking game. It might be enough if their forwards can stand up to ours, but I doubt they can.

Like everyone is saying on here so far it’s a matter of what Roosters team shows up. If it’s the resilient, smart, disciplined and crafty Roosters team we saw last week and in Round 1 when we beat the Broncos last, we’ll be in with a massive chance. If it’s the predictable, undisciplined, dumb rabble we were against Manly and the 1st half Bulldogs, then we will probably lose and rue what could have been if the former team were playing.

Before we can be taken seriously we need consistency which has been sadly lacking this year. It’s round 9 and we still haven’t put in two consecutive wins in a row this season yet so going by this dismal record I’m expecting a loss. Add to that we’ve only beaten one top team out of three and scored high against dragons and souths which both have been easily thrashed by other teams and souths are last placed. We have yet to prove ourselves as a real threat.

Personally id take Collins over Hass- both State of Origin front rowers but Collins has dominated in that arena while Hass has been good without being great
