Going to be an awesome game hopefully the two dickhead refs stay out of it, bloody hell I wish we had Spence alas he’s another week away, I think Robbo has been crossing the days off the calendar in anticipation of this game we lost a pig for a third of the season because of that softcock Mam.

Would love nothing more then to beat these wankers then sit back and watch Tallis whinge about how the refs gave them no help, that ****wit has a head that looks like a busted sandshoe.

      Go Easts!

          I reckon we'll get spanked.

The crowd will be going nuts after the Mam circus & be baying for the racist Roosters blood.

The refs will follow suit to attend to their pressure & we'll receive no favors.

I still think our game against the Broncos, Penrith's & Melbourne's is not up to scratch to trouble them.

That Rd 1 gimmick game win will motivate the Broncos more than us. Beating the likes of Souths & Dragons by 50 odd points IMO only masks the deficiencies we have against the top 4 teams.

Writing this as i watch the rain on a cold dark gloomy day might be a part factor in this negativity but will be happy to be proven wrong & will eat my words & wont bag Robbo again this year if we can win this game.

IMO the fact Mam got his ridiculously long suspension for Leniu could work to our advantage. He won't have to play Brisbane again this season (IMO it was all a hangover from the GF's on-field banter) and Mam can't claim there was any sorta injustice.

If I were him then I'd feel embarrassed now as it was a petty over-reaction in an attempt to score a penalty. Wouldn't be surprised if the some of our players put that little bit of extra (clean, legal) ooomf into their tackles against the cry baby.

Again... defining for both teams if we can beat them in Brissy with their favourite 14th man working overtime to help satisfy the local crowd. Penrith and Melbourne are a level above beating Brisbane at home IMO. Brisbane at home is like the mid-ground... won't be easy but with an almost full-strength squad I reckon it's ours to lose.

Due respect and all to Haas, Carrigan and Walsh. However IMO if we play to our potential (which is never guaranteed) then we're faster, stronger and smarter than them. Our bench says it all!!! Brisbane have 4 nobodies whereas we have a lot of class.

Last minute note - JWH is out (just read). Mindful Rads may also be out too. That doesn't change what I've just written. Collins, May, Whyte, Crichton, Butcher, Wong... we have more depth. Whereas Brisbane are farked if we can contain Haas/Carrigan. Sounds like JWH's injury is minor too, suggesting Robbo's confident we can get the job done without him.

That's what the bookies are counting on.

Betting on NRL games should be banned as just one or two poor decisions from officials can completely change the outcome.

I would say that out of the other 16 clubs if they had to choose either Teddy or Walsh they would take Walsh.

Sure it's Friday night in Brissy but frankly, Brissy were a bunch of whinging sooks last time we beat them and I can't see why we should now be their b!atches simply because they made the GF last year.

Screw the bookies. IMO there will be a solid fight and a win in Brissy could be a defining moment for our season.

How would you know what the other clubs are thinking?

Turbo is better than Walsh but not as good at Tedesco.

One thing I would like to see Tedesco do is kick in general play.

In the old days, that was one of the roles of fullbacks—I don't mean kicking duals—but general field kicking—Brentnall and McMahon had big boots on them in the kicking department—Fairfax, Gurr, Eadie, Dorahy. Mosely , Langlands (except in the 1975 GF - Penalty kick for touch) were good general play kickers. host of others.
