Last weeks win was set up with an immense effort from our front row, especially Jared. I expect the same this week despite his absence. I particularly like the naming of four forwards on the bench again. Brisbane have too.

Should be a ding dong battle.

I reckon Klein will call out Jwh for a high shot and send rads to the bin...somehow...

I have to be realistic with three hugely influential player Spencer, JWH and Toops out and Brisbane at full strength any loss under 10 points is acceptable.

I just hope we don’t get injuries , suspensions as I feel with players coming back we could start a little run from next week

Leniu offers something completely different. His aggression and energy lifts those around him. His ambition to be our new Alpha drives him to give 110% in every play. I can't wait for him to come back!

Well, it hasn’t rained up here in Brisneyland…yet….but it is vaguely threatening, so there is that , we’re off to Lang Park regardless, so here’s to a good contest with zero Klein induced ****ing bullshit…..yeh yeh , I know

With our recent bad run with injures, a spot will no doubt upon up for Spencer sooner or later.

Spencer did it, he was called out on it, suspended...a valuable lesson was learnt by all and we moved on.
A big mistake would be for our boys to do anything but play smart, legal, and self-controlled footy.
Smart footy tonight would be concentrating on ball control,100% completion rate, making effective tackles that stop offloads, and running straight and hard all night in attack.

Roughing up Broncos players could see one or more of our players in the bin and the game lost.
I agree it’s not okay. I just despise the little man cause he refused to accept an apology. We can rough him up legally.

I'll watch the replay tomorrow....................if we win.

In the meantime I hope we teach their girly-boy fullback a lesson, smash pain in the hass and make the baby cry again.

3 weeks for JWH for sure. High contact whilst patting his dog

                        Big games tonight
will drop out of the 8 and 4 from 9 if we loose
jwh and rads dropping out are massive losses to the forward pack
                        and toops on the backs
allthough we seem to stand up when we have our backs against the wall and have some injuries so let’s hope a few guys step up
the media have been abit quite on this one
I think our odds and still okay and good that the broncs are heavy favourites
                        that’s how we like it
I think chooks still by 6
sandon to come in late on the bench for Egan

Agreed. I'm not a fan of racism and certainly wouldn't encourage anybody to go around calling any person of colour a 'monkey'. However I stand by Spencer as he's one of us and I think he was hung out to dry on this one (including having to put up with being called a racist by a panel of white dudes who clumsily got his name & ethnicity wrong).

Racism's never cool but this was the longest suspension ever, Ezra's refused his offer to make peace with it and played a lot of stunts in order to escalate the severity.

We all experience things differently but IMO just because something is 'not okay'... doesn't mean it's an extreme act that requires a harsh response. I think Ezra was within his right to complain but the NRL handled this poorly and Ezra's position of refusing an apology and redacting the juicy parts of his impact statement didn't help.

Nobody can force somebody to accept an apology but Spencer is not Adolf Hitler. The NRL's hung him out to dry and Ezra has let the matter linger by not taking a forgive and forget approach.

As such, I don't think Spencer needs to be overly sorry. He's said sorry, he's done an overly long stint on the sidelines and our response doesn't need to personal. As a fan I'd just love to see the little snitch get stitches. This was more about taking a stand than it was about any actual offence suffered IMO. Further, I suspect it was staged.

Of course he will come straight back in.

Brisbane are lucky to get us without our dogs Victor, Jarred and Spencer. Regardless we have the depth to beat them.
