What logic is there in us signing a 34 year old SJ for two years at $850K ffs? At that price he is playing first grade every week. He isn't going to be a back up. He plays similar to Sammy. And his body has been breaking down the last couple of years. Will he last 2 more years? And most importantly Sandon won't hang around playing Reggies and he won't be the 14 with Watto around.
Robbo has said Sammy and Sandon are our future halves.
It's a complete beat up imo feeding on the Fifita hype probably coming from News Corp.

No offer was made to Johnson and Johnson has even said that he has received no offers and is yet to make a decision about 2025.
