The Sydney Roosters Senior Representative sides have been named for Round 10 of their respective seasons.

Both sides will travel across the Tasman to face the New Zealand Warriors at North Harbour Stadium in Auckland on Sunday morning, Australian Eastern Standard Time.

FG looking very strong on paper... & so the flow-on effect to Cup & Flegg is very good! Give those Wahs something to cry about boys!

Very happy for both of them mate. They are in the best place with the Rooster's, to learn their trade. I know how hard they are working to earn their crust. Just praying for an uninterrupted run from here, with no injuries...

Interesting article in today's DT about Rugba League numbers growing in NZ with the success of their senior team plus their winning HM team.
Rugby players are moving across in hoards much to the dismay of officials who are pissed and issuing all sorts of threats I.e. sponsorship and scholarships at prestigious schools.
Warriors have now filled all junior comps.
Their CEO George is thrilled and disappointed with embargos and basically pleading to let young kids be and have fun playing sport.

Might be the media adding a bit of hype... there are instances where certain rugby schools are sharing playing resources across the 2 codes, even a case apparently where union sponsorship/funding for a school was withdrawn because its star players had decided to focus on a RL pathway but this is a rare case... union is king in nz, league is its poorer cousin on the ground level... for RL to make a big dent in the code war... the Wahz need to be consistently in the top end of the nrl comp & win premiershipS... can't see that happening anytime soon?!... good luck to them!

NZ Rugby are giants and always will be.

They are so well stocked with talent, IMO their back up All Black 15 would also beat opposition teams.

Stop being big brother and put people first.

That was an insane rwc final 12-11... nz a questionable red card & yellow card for each... in a gf?... but SA were able to hold off NZs surges... at the end & missed penalty lost nz but won sa the cup.

nz & sa love the game religiously as much as each other, hence the massive respect for each other off the field...

the all black jersey is a global sporting icon

sadly for the wallabies, 2 of these traditional union powerhouses have maintained a consistency at the top end of world rugby... i don't think buying star RL players will solve the problem?

sa - most titles with 4

                  aus 2 titles

nz - inaugural winner, 1st to win 3 cups, 1st to win b2b
