Anasta Hooked?

One of manlys tries was the result of anasta falling over in the defensive line.i really dont think his heart is in it anymore for the roosters.We need a captain with fire and passion for the club.I thought maubs might be the one but im really starting to think JWH is the man for the job.

would be interesting to confirm if Anasta was actually hooked, could certainly be the initial public crack in the media whore/salary cap thiefs, untouchable status.

maybe Smith might be finally realising his prospects of having a job in 2013 might depend on him giving Anasta the flick.

In all honesty I'd keep Brian Smith as our coach. Outside of Anasta he has worked wonders with this team since the debacle that was 2009. The players (other than Anasta) are playing with pride for the jersey and are playing for one an other, we have a good crop of young kids coming through and have re-signed our blokes that we've developed through the lower grades rather than buy big namers.

Smith has done a lof of good for this club, no more off field talk now that Myles and Todd are gone (though Todd may have been a victim of circumstance). We are close.

Na i dont think cpt. material still too many dumb plays in his game(that penalty). Pearce for mine I think today showed how much we miss him.

Maubs doesn't deserve the captaincy on the back of some of his work this year. He just doesn't get involved. Pearce is the natural captain of this team on the field. Not quite sure he suits it off the field but its not for me to decide. It's not like we ahve a bunch of players putting their hand up anyway...

On topic, the sooner Anasta leaves the better off we will be. He just doesn't care anymore.

I'd definitley keep smith his retention policies have been brilliant and I think he's looking longer term than this season with such a young team we were never going to win the comp.

How could a person of this potential be payed so much and captain our club. Pearce is captain material he captained the Australian Schoolboys side so he has experience and he drives our pack if Pearce was on today we might have won. How bad was Anasta delivering no attack at all. Dont know why Smith keeps selecting him?
