I was at the game today sitting in the second row on the hill side right in front of that woeful set where we went down the blind side 3 tackles in a row. I think it was the last and Tagive was given the ball again, had to jump over a player and try to offload to Friend who dropped it and it was picked up by Jason King. Now Anasta was standing about 5-7 metres from King and was easily the closest defender. He saw King was going to pick it up, all he had to do was show a tiny amount of urgency and he would have shut it down. Instead he stood still until King went past him while he literally just watched then didn't have the pace to go with a 30 year old prop and then didn't even attempt to help with the tackle after other defenders had herded him in. I'm pretty confident that must have been when he got hooked. It was the single most disgusting thing I've seen from a captain on a football field. Screw mysterious back injury, let's go round and kneecap the f**ker!!

I feel like I contributed more to our game today than Anasta did just by calling Jamie Lyon an ugly man before a kick for goal. And he kicked it, so that says alot about how Anasta played.

Yak I dont think he is up to the mark but comparred to how he played in our last 3 games today was actually a pass.

I dont know what they are going to do with him, I sent an email to Noyce after the Warriors game which I posted on here suggesting Anasta should be replaced as captain & that his involvement in games was embarrassing. He said Braith admitted himself that he had been quiet but he was working on it. And when it came to the captaincy he pointed out that the captaincy had alot more to do with than just what happens on the field. Because the team is so young they really have there hands tied, he is needed purely because of his length time in the game.

He may be moved to the backrow but otherwise I dont think anything will change.
