    Thanks for posting this.

I'm really glad to hear coach say the plan is for Sandon to come into Kearys role.

Acknowledges the affect digging Fafita will have on keeping Angus.

Interesting with the "still a lot of water to pass under the bridge before we start talking and negotiating". Sounds like they are nowhere near getting to a point where we re-sign Angus

I can’t understand why the female reporter would ask Robbo if we have any interest in Lachlan Lam when he’s clearly stated Sandon Smith and Sam Walker will be our halves moving forward..

On top of that we have Brandon Smith and Connor Watson as hooker/utility options,no way on earth the Club would go backwards by entertaining the return of Lam..

These reporters must not do their research but just throw stupid stuff out there!

Doesn't sound promising in keeping Gussy despite mentioning all the positives about how he is playing. I think the money he would probably command now would be the sticking point.

He sure did, and in a bit of a sombre way. Whilst he did say at the end the door wasn't closed, for mine the only thing that will save Angus will be to take a significant pay cut. Which Angus won't be doing, and nor should he. Given what he could make elsewhere. But he's gone I reckon. The problem too is that Sitili is signed until 2027 I think. And one of them has to go at the end of 2024.

This may mean that Fifita is slated to play on the left? It'll be interesting to see it all play out.

I thought it was a fair question.

I believe the next significant signing will be a half, perhaps only a short signing. With the late notice of Keary’s departure it has left the club with little options to sign next year, with possibly only overseas players able to return, ie Lam.

Trent also said we don’t rebuild, we stay at the top, and we won’t stay at the top with inexperienced halves next year.

It wouldn’t surprise me if BH signed for 2025-26 a bit like Cronk did.

Also good to hear that any new purchases will not block the pathway of our development players

Outstanding briefing actually made me feel reassured and excited. It’s also another reason why Robinson is and will continue to be our head coach. It’s more than just game day tactics it’s a significant cultural and organisational role in any football club of quality.

That question was ok. There have been questions asked at these media appearances that were 1000 times dumber than that. He's a former player who has expressed an interest in returning to the NRL. Totally valid question.

2 weeks ago a reporter asked Robbo to explain why Teddy should be retained for Origin, when Dylan Edwards had better Supercoach points.

                            Ben Hunt.
More chance of signing Cronk for 12 months.
                            Can't see it happen.

Thanks for that. Had me worried because the only one I could think of was Ben Hornby!
