yea exactly. I like the fact that he isnt afraid to throw around his weight and put a broom through a club if he sees fit which is a good quality to have however as you said in your post, if there isnt too much need apart form a few minor adjustments and giving youth a chance building from the bottom up which seems from the early signs to be what his intention is then thats a good balance to have as a coach.

The only things i have heard that are negative about smith is that he has his favourites some of which arent the best players and he can be notorious for dividing a team or club because he is willing to throw his weight around and nothing stands in his way of speaking his mind or getting rid of/recruiting any player that he thinks is what is needed.

Do you think that all the things that people here say that they have heard about Smith that the Roosters would have heard the same thing? I would think so.
