  • Official Match Day Thread: Roosters v Warriors

It’s all about Jarred today. He deserves all the attention he gets. Definitely the best front rower I’ve seen in our colours. To achieve 300 in his position with the speed and intensity of the game these days is an absolutely incredible feat. I don’t know who will be the next front rower to achieve 300 or if 300 for the one club will ever happen agin. The good news, there are more honours to come. We love you Jarred and thank you!

Let’s pick up where we left off.

    GO ROOSTERS!!

Tight competition but a win could put us to 5th whereas a loss would leave us at equal 11th. IMO after some rubbish performances early on it's crunch time as stupid losses over the next few weeks could do us some major damage.

With the Sharks and Dolphins continuing to win, the top 4's gonna be rough to try and crack IMO. We've gotta make sure of these games somehow after some silly losses.

Once were Warriors. In reality they are pretty shit these days.

We should put another 40 on.

            Last week was good.
Went to bed on Friday night at peace, and woke up in the morning to check the chookpen to see the result.
Then I got to watch the replay, totally relaxed, with a few drinks.

Today I'm doing it hard. Watching live and risking the game managers giving me a heart attack.
But you can't blame me for feeling confident.

            Roosters by 26...........................go JWH

I like the fact that we are the only club to have 4 players to play 300+ games…

I’m expecting a Easts win, but it might be pretty close given the weather. A real grinding game through the middle. In the dry, we smoke them.

Anyone have an update on the condition of the field?
1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.

Yeah but they have a knack of beating us when we are short-priced favourites. Got to respect them.

                          Go Easts.

Finally we field very close to a full strength team. Make Hay. Congrats to Jared on a massive achievement...Easts legend. Hopefully most of the drinks gone, but still a heavy track. Anticipating a big win.

And a very Happy Mothers Day to all the Mums out there.
