Got too caught up with trying to score in every set, need to get back into the grind in the second half. There was two dropped balls where we decided to do a full field spread on 1st play and came up with an error on both times.

That falls on Keary & Walker but I also would be getting Radley back on the field, feel like he keept us playing direct whilst on the field.

Yes we got some tries from playing expansive but it all came on the back of some hard carries in the middle of the field first and then playing on the back of that momentum. We’ve been trying to skip step 1, run hard up the middle and win the play the ball.

Aboslute madness that Leniu only had two runs in the first half but very indicative of how much drifted away from the game plan.

God we could have used Smith out of hooker for that last 20 of the half, we needed to go hard and straight through the ruck. Stop the side to side rot.

Two different teams. Noticed as soon as JWH came off we fell apart. We went from brilliant to mediocre in the same half. I think we got overconfident and forgot the basics. All we have to do is hang onto the ball. Our biggest problem is we began to become impatient and lose composure causing many errors. A composed rooster team is a premiership threat.

Amazing start to the game before the errors kicked in near the end of the half. Hopefully the break will refocus the team. We need to complete sets and not give them the slightest chance of a comeback.
