Given how closely Anasta works with players I tend to respect his view on this.
If you've had issues outside of work and your employer sticks by you, pays you in full when you are underperforming for so long, the right thing would be to keep your disgruntled opinions away from the public.
Let's not forget that the Roosters also allowed him to explore other opportunities with nearly 2 years remaining on his contract. Of course they would have been looking for a replacement. It would have been stupid to have no options if he did go to rugby. He still might go to rugby.
