How did they do that - 10 day cooling off period

Easy. By not having a conversation with Angus immediately after they had signed Fifita (or possibly at all), and by telling Sitili he has no future here by giving him permission to go elsewhere. It could have been handled sooooo much better than this. Our team appears to be as tight and as happy as it has in years, yet we potentially destroy the harmony by mismanging the whole Fifita signing. I read an article on how his team mates are rallying around Angus, and that was before the DF backflip. Trust in management might be shaken a bit.

sounds like he rang someone at the club at 10pm to say he wasn’t sure and they pulled the offer this morning

for the titans do they really want him know as he was going and backtracked? Did he want to stay or has someone persuaded him to at the titans?
for Fifita it’s embarrassing as he as backed out on the offer he committed too and now going to the titans with his tail between his legs after their fans bood him
and for us we have stuffed critchon and sitili around are they going to want to stay now?

So the theme here is our emerging young blokes are shit and we're doomed without an overrated Fifita and Gus who has been more average than brilliant in the last several years.

I was looking forward to him coming over but I don’t think it’s that bad. Looking forward to seeing what we do next.

At one point he was definitely going to Penrith then he agreed to come to us, now staying where he is. So that’s 3 times he’s changed his mind, 4 times if you count the original decision to extend with the titans. It’s for the best, not worth the trouble.
