Cronulla completed 1 more set than us, penalties were even 9-9, Cronulla conceded 1 more linebreak and 8 more missed tackles.

I think your conclusion is off. There was very little between the two sides, some individual moments seemed to define the game for me not so much that one side did any one particular part of the game better than the other.

I’m more concerned with our drop ball and idiotic coaching decisions tonight than the referee But you keep blaming the referee Better and more disciplined side tonight won the game tonight

The sharks are not the real deal - IMO - that is the most frustrating thing.

I thought we got Brandon Smith from the storm because he was a star - he has been so underwhelming.

Gus 2 bad drops and Walker 2 really bad kicks in general play. Teddy runs on his knees and is clumsy.

        Coach get your bench sorted.

Anyway we move on to next week.

        GO ROOSTERS.
It's weird seeing Watson up the tempo during key moments, ay...

          • Too good the Sharks. We didnt make use of our chances in that 2nd half, poor kick from Sam when we needed to keep it in the hands and Gus knock on playing the ball. Plus two soft tries Wilton and Talakai.

Connor tried his guts out. Plenty for Robbo to work on.

Tapuha never played that well for us, Fitzy has the key. And that centre Iro has got something.

              • We had Tapuha and let him go...now he's playing for the Sharks and trampling us.
                He won, we lost.
                We should get him back.

                • I have said it a few times this year. There are too many risk takers in our team. We let Warriors back into the game through unnecessary risk. We briefly let Dragons back into the game off the back of two high risk plays. Not good enough against genuine contenders.

We should be sponsored by one of the bookmakers.

Nat Butcher is there to tackle, only ..
                    Egan was brilliant ….
Keary should lead when Walker is too erratic

                    We lacked maturity..
I would argue that Sam Walker made his turnovers at the right end of the field, I’ve got no problem with him trying to create points in the oppositions 20. Sometimes it won’t come off, sometimes it will.

If anything it was the senior players who lacked attention to detail in key moments that decided the game.

Luke Keary 1st minute rushes out of the line needlessly to gift them an easy linebreak and first try.
Angus Crichton with 2 simple knock ons, lack of attention to detail. Both lead to tries.
Tedesco lack of detail not realising that Hynes had kicked from inside the 40, lead the second try.
JWH with a blatant and needless knee in the ruck, lead to a try.

Sure defence should’ve been stronger but we just can’t keep gifting up field position like that, we’ve done it the last 3 weeks as well the other sides just weren’t good enough to capitalise.

                    • Usual meltdowns after a loss. I predict this place will be very ‘busy’ tonight.

                      • So dissapointing
now 5 losses where we could have won
we seem to loose them themselves
talk about the Harlem globe trotters
win by 40 or loose in a tight one
we don’t have patience to be able to build anything
the 2nd half was the 2nd worse half I have seen behind the bulldogs

Even when we’ve won it’s got nothing to do with him. He’s just been out of the way and let everyone else in. But against half decent teams you need a fullback, and he isn’t one anymore
I think he needs to go back to normal studs, he got away with it when he was a bit younger and quicker but every time he looks like he’s about to break the line he just slips over it’s so frustrating to watch.

                            • This team has an expensive Brandon Smith problem as Watson is the best dummy half and one of the most important players on this team now.

Last week we were just lucky our execution came off but our risky style of footy often backfires which is why we are not in the same league as the top and middle teams who are coached to hold onto the footy and only take risks after getting good field position. All we were doing was defending all game. What a stupid style of footy Robbo endorses. He needs to go.
We had 175 plays to the Sharks 166 plays, so the argument all we ended up doing was defending all game is a misrepresentation of the game.
We completed 30/37 sets to the Sharks 31/36 sets, again I think you’re misrepresenting the facts if you’re suggesting dropped balls was the difference in the game.
I also saw no issues with our attack tonight, we created plenty.

Our defence and some detail in moments is where we lost it IMO, not any of the points you raised around ball control or possession.
