Totally agree with this. Morts stupid kick on the third got manly off the hook. Then matai got the arsiest bounce he could have hoped for. But my biggest disappointment of the game was that the roosters clocked off in the sheds and let manly own them for the first ten minutes straight after halftime. They were steam rolling their way down the field. We did well to only let them get the one try but it put the wind in their sails. A bit more resistance after halftime was needed.

I know one thing, our young forwards are well on the way to being world beaters imo.

They're aggressive young carrnts, and usually the week after playing us the other side struggles to back up the week after.

I know i've flummed a few tips this year by backing the team over the one's who played us the week before.

For some perspective, the Sharks were worse than us last year and look at what they have achived compared to us so far this season... Let's not celebrate mediocrity.

Now now Cockadoodledoo, please don't let the truth get in the way of a good story!
The year 2013 marks the beginning of the Roosters next 'decade of excellence', and it will prove to be more successful than the last!

        Here's looking at you, kid.

The Sharks are nearing their prime, we on the otherhand lost the player that has turned them around and are one of if not the youngest team in the NRL. We all knew that not much was gonna happen for us this year, so to see the youngsters standing up to some solid teams is an encouraging sign.

SBW would add about a million percent to the team. Fact.

Manly had lost 6 of their top players, Warriors have 15th worst defence in the comp, Saints was a close won though we are improving but will finish around 9 this year like the Bulldogs last year then next year we will finish 4th-5th.
Banasta goes, hopefully new coach etc. mature forwards Maloney which will make better attack and a new stadium in Salford this will make us a competitive team. Hopefully Leilua also becomes a solid winger which is absolutely crucial to our success I also wish we had Frizell or Taumalolo

This season is in Smiths hands,if he has the balls to drop Anasta and move Morts to 5/8th,adding to the emergence of alot of our talented younger kids,we have a chance to make the 8.
If he leaves thigs as they are,see ya next year!

Lotsa reasons to be cheerful (if we can just show a little patience).

.....now if we can just get rid of Captain Courageous.

He's changed the culture, introduced a successful youth policy, rounded up all the egos and cap-stealers and told them to **** off and you still think he's useless?

I don't always agree with his match day selections, but the way he's rebuilt this team has been nothing short of outstanding. Deserves more credit that he is currently afforded by Roosters supporters and the general public alike.
                      Agree with this 100%.
