As I said, just because someone gets paid plenty doesn’t mean they are marquee.
They paid for potential that never developed … and yes he was their marquee … doesn’t mean he has ever near the very best in the league

But we’re talking the Tigers … they have to pay over the odds … we pay unders … but on average … you get what you pay for in life

But Salvo did play for both teams...hmmm
How sad that would be Eggman.

Sharks no 12 just ran thru a big gap between Walker and Suaalii to score a try.
A big forward should've been there to stop him.
        Tapuha would've been nice.
The problem was the defence didn't number up! The way you make it sound is like a big Sharks forward dragged a smaller Roosters forward over the line- and that "mismatch" needs to be addressed

Incidentally in Cameron McGuiness 177cm/91kg the Sharks have the smallest back rower in the NRL and the no.1 form forward in the NRL.... plus Briton Nikora 185cm/94kg by your standards is "smallish". These days lateral fast moving forwards with fast play the balls are needed

I don’t see Radley bouncing off too many big forwards in defence, nor Butcher for that matter. in fact quite the opposite as both are quite strong defenders.

              Noticed as well.

                • Now that BA is out of a job, maybe Les M can petition to replace Trent. lol I be know who I’d rather have leading our club but for some on here they’d rather have anyone else it seems

Hope not. Surely everyone has noticed how our attack has looked much better this year. We put 30 on the “ best defensive team in the comp”. It’s our defense that needs a bit of steel.

Well I would happily laugh at/with you … if you actually ever said anything humorous

                          Unfortunately that’s not the case

                          • There's just something about the team. We lose games we should be winning. The team looks frantic in moments when they should be composed. They make inexcusable errors at key moments. They give away dumb penalties at critical moments of the game. The captain doesn't show enough calmness under pressure and our chief playmaker often overplays his hand in moments when he should be keeping it simple.

It shows how critical Cooper Cronk was to the team.

Actually, unless a forward was coming across in cover, that’s the way they defend - half, centre, wing. They just got caught out. No side is perfect - except the Riff.
