That's where our game needs to be refined! Of our 7 incomplete sets, 3 were when the game was in the balance. We overplayed our hand and turned the ball over early in the tackle count. We were also in good field position. High risk footy is great and it suits our roster however there are times when you need to play percentages, focus on applying pressure and maintaining momentum. Points will come! This is where Penrith and Nathan Cleary are a cut above the rest!

I’m not really into bagging players and coaches But Robbos lack of use of Butcher off the bench was idiotic

Probably the game the Roosters needed as D has been a bit loose which has been covered up by the scores they have been racking up.

Not sure they need to tone down the attack that much - maybe the old take the tackle instead of throwing the miracle pass and getting to the kick after points and generally types of scenario.

Gave the Sharks too much ball especially in the second half with errors coming out of their end which put the D under pressure.

Not sure who does the stats for either of the below and why they differ across the board

          FOX NRL

Roosters 301 tackles and 24 missed
Sharks 269 tackles and 32 missed

          NRL

Roosters 333 tackles and 33 missed - 9 ineffective tackles
          Sharks 288 and 35 missed - 28 ineffective tackles

Lighten up, if you can’t laugh at yourself who can you laugh at.

You’re a negative sod who becomes more engaged on this platform when we are losing. It was a light joke, surely you’ve got some self-awareness.

Fully agreed. Until we can get that balance right we will struggle a lot. Just because it worked against the dragons doesn’t mean we should have played that style tonight. With some composure and building up pressure we could have won but we were impatient and forgot the basics.

The Roosters had an off night and still could have won the game. I hope we play the sharks in the finals , they will be out in straight sets again.

The wheel was always round. Doesn’t mean it can turn though.

Luke Brooks was on a mil a year. Does that him marquee?

We butchered that game. We can take care of them in the finals.

                              Yes.

Hope they pick Edwards for SOO fullback...so we can keep Teddy at Roosters...there's much work to be done if we intend making finals top 4.

You could tell coming into this game we couldn’t just be the Harlem globetrotters
we needed to respect field posession and territory and also get the basics right
our attack is great but we are still trying to score off every play, can’t built pressure and the defence has fallen off
frustrating as there is another one gone
it’s odd that our for and against is so good and we can easily beat teams but only winning 6 and loosing 5 isn’t great and we are just in the 8
