  • Raiders.

Now this is a team that milks 1 to 17. Whingers 1 to 17. Scraps 1 to 17.

We need to put them in their place.

We need to hold the ball and stop trying to score every second play.

We won’t get a penalty all day and they’ll get free rides nonstop for grabbing their ankles and necks.

    We need to play smart.

Every loss this year has been self-inflicted. Arguably only Penrith actually outplayed us.

Raiders are a team that play every week like their life depends on it,irrespective of injuries or suspensions..

We need to play tough to beat them!

3pm, probably the best time to play them, no dew, but it isn’t our happiest hunting ground.

        Hope Manu is back.

I seem to remember they copped an absolute flogging from the Sharks only this year. At home too. Anyway I hope we can beat them on Saturday as I’ll be there for the first time in a long while. We really struggle to beat them at Canberra Stadium and have a pretty poor record there.

            Yes you’re right..

I just feel like generally they’re a tough nut to crack at home,a place we’ve had trouble getting a win!

Hope the boys are up for the fight.

Hope we defend a lot better than last night for this one. I'm heading to Canberra for this one - looking forward to it - never been to a game there before.

If we defend and make mistakes like yesterday, we are no chance.

Raiders will be tougher than the Sharks for us. They're not to be taken lightly especially down in Canberra !

No doubt Ricky will have them at their grubby best.

We need to improve our defensive starch. I don’t rate Canberra at all this year, we should be putting 30 on them at least but this time without the customary 3 soft tries conceded.

Bank some points and some good team wins before Origin period.

If we play well we win.

Bring your warmest clothes mate. That stadium is like a freezer, and we now getting colder temps here (apparent temp -6 this morning).

Papalii will be out for them, after copping a week min for a hip drop on the weekend. He usually does some damage against us.

1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.
