I seem to remember they copped an absolute flogging from the Sharks only this year. At home too. Anyway I hope we can beat them on Saturday as I’ll be there for the first time in a long while. We really struggle to beat them at Canberra Stadium and have a pretty poor record there.

It wasn’t too bad out this way at Belco today.

Went to the gym this morning at 6am and yes it was cold but nothing too bad.

I have been enjoying the open fireplace in the loungroom the past couple of nights tho.

I remember being there for a Friday Night game probably around late 90s. Was June 28th. Was 2 degrees with a chill factor of minus 10. We lost with 2 minutes to go.

I can still remember leaving the ground down there and walking back to the supporters bus long ago, before fulltime as the score against us kept climbing and the cheers were deafening...we were thrashed 0-64.
Big, strong, fast Meninga trampled us into the turf like we were ants.

Anyone worried about the cold this coming Sat arvo needs to drink some cement. It’s going to be around 15 degrees at kick off. If the suns out, that’s t-shirt weather down here!

Will be a bit cool at full time tho. Sit on the eastern side. Will be a little annoying with the sun in your eyes for a while but it won’t get cold!
