Fittler should be man enough to face up to the fact that his coaching ability needs a hell of a lot of fine tuning. If he doesn't take the opportunity to learn from Smith over the next 4 years he's a farking sook and should take his bat and ball and piss off!

    Chook.

There aren't many organisations out there whereby the employee is pre-warned about a redundancy or sacking. It just happens. And in all cases a suitable replacement is sought prior to giving notice.

It's just unfortunate that these things get leaked to the general public.

I'm sure Uncle Nick has a job at the club, like checking the chlorine levels of the pool once a week for $250K.

Ive heard that the pool is only of the pivotal tasks in his new portfolio.

ensuring there are sufficient ticking tees and training cones, no holes in the big bag that carries the balls, enough orange vests, no cracks in the water bottles.... there's heaps he can do for a lazy $250K

yeah lets give him more bucket loads of money and cut the juniors spending.
That is if there is any left that they spend.

He has been looked after well enough, I do hope that he has some role at the club, but if you want to give him money then I am sure there is a job at a car dealership or two

Poor Freddie has been treated so bad. Harden up people....

He blew it as a coach that is plain for all to see. He knew it wouldn't be a full term prospect. Even now he is not sure if he is a career coach. That says a lot about the guys focus on what he wants to do in the future.

I fo one hope he does take a role up with the club but I fail to see how he was treated poorly. Look at the ladder, that it pretty bloody poor.

When we improve or position on the ladder, all the smiling faces wont have a thought about poor Freddie.

              Good luck Freddie.

How about the classic line he came up with "I don't even know what I'm doing tomorrow".

All I can say is whatever else he does, I hope he can spare some time for planning a strategy to beat the Vermin next Monday night.

I know he's disappointed in what's happened but he still has a job to do til season's end.

One would hope a wooden spoon is not the legacy the bloke wants to leave behind as a reminder of his coaching career at the Roosters.

I reckon that would have been part of his conditions.

I wonder if Freddy didnt have full autonomy, was it down to him or somebody else that the booze ban got lifted ?
