Where was this fervour over testing when Mitch Ross was rubbing desiccated Buck penis on the Rabbitohs back in 2014. Who knew deer had so much testosterone in them?

Pretty sure we won’t hear the results.

Players are tested all the time but you don’t hear the outcome if they are negative. We will hear the results if positive but not sure how they deal with first offences and reporting.

I guess no news will be good news.

Recreational drugs amongst mask the effects of injury and pain. That is performance enhancing also.

Has there been anything further on this?

Will they release the results so the players can stick it up the naysayers if negative?

Hope they sue that bald fat ugly ****ers ass for all they can. Poor excuse for a journo. Happy to take the cheap shot behind his stupid moniker.

No public apology but he has been posting some promotional material from the club on his Twitter account. I’d say they’ve come to a handshake agreement.

If they were only tested a week later then nothing to worry about, hopefully have short hair as urine sample would have washed away.
Unless they were silly enough to do weed, that stays in the system a lot longer.
so a friend tells me, I don’t touch the stuff.

not really - they'd be more likely to take stuff after the game. not saying they have but fingers crossed. can see where the nrl was coming from but the rlpa was right to complain

So do pain killing injections/needles that players get to remove the pain. Doesn’t that make them performance enhancing drugs by your reasoning?

FWIW I understand what you are trying to say and I also agree recreational drugs have no place in sport.

They don't have a place in sport - in recreation however is where I think some players and regular members of society may use them. Sport has nothing to do with anybody taking cocaine or the like. None of anybody else's business. Few too many judges I think.

Those are medicinal and non addictive when administered correctly. They are also legal. There is a difference.
