By seasons end every Roosters supporter will be grieving the loss of Suaalii. He going from strength to strength and last weeks effort in defence was another glimpse into where he's heading.
right centre could be his spot he looked comfortable there in defence.
what a shame hel be leaving just when he's finding his feet....

Again in 11 games this year suaali has scored 1 try
while Manu had 8
and young has scored 8 in 8 games
young has 15 line breaks and 42 tackle breaks
compared to suaali 6 line breaks in 11 games
and young averages more mtrs 160
that flick pass was the first I have seen him pass the ball or do anything exciting
why was billly smith at centre all pre season? As he was better then Suaali
how many tries has suaali let in but racing off his wing or getting caught flat footed and players going around him which these tackles don’t show? Getting burnt by Moses Suli was embarrassing

I, personally, would love him to see him as an edge backrower.

I was happy to see him leave early this year
for $1.5ml over 2 seasons we havnt seen a lot
even his aerial ability isn’t great considering his height
I have never seen him play a game where he was in out top 3 players

Did a Salvo and had a google . Between round 11-15 (he didn’t play 13 and 15) Billy made 10 errors (average of 3.3 per game) including 5 against the Panthers and 4 against SGI. As well as that he missed between rounds 12 and 16 (missing 13 and 15) 9 missed tackles (3 a game).

Suaalii has 6 try assists, almost 140 run metres a game and a tackle efficiency of 88.5. X factor wise u just need to watch his aerial leaps or even the flick pass to Dom in the weekend. Can he be prone to a bad game, absolutely. Does he sometimes look lost defensively at centre, yep. But ultimately if we have a game against Penrith tomorrow in the grand final, I’d prefer Jo.

Maybe Billy comes back and absolutely kills it, forcing his way into the 17, I tell you what they’d have to be some absolute blinders, and if he does, who’s to say that Suaalii won’t supplant Dom or Toops on the wing?

His aerial leaps? I have seen him jump once this season v the warriors with no players competing and the ball went straight between his hands
Compared to toops, Manu and young just because he it tall Doesn’t mean he is great in the air

It wasn't his fault he got good coin without proving anything in first grade. Even a child prodigy needs time to develop into a evenly rounded professional . He is showing glimpses as to why he was in such high demand.

People forget how young Aussie Joe was when catapulted into the top grade playing against men. I've always cut him some slack, thought he has done very well.

I wouldn't pick him for Origin this year personally, but will offer my congrats if he does get selected.
