The Panthers were next level. Ivan Cleary is some coach! The only team that can take them down this season will be us imo.

Glad you got to go MR, i was watching the score ticking over while i was at work today and thought to myself why couldn't the Roosters play like that when i have made the trip down in previous years, most of the time they have played like busted chooks when i have been there. Did you sit in the Meninga stand or the Gregan stand, i used to like sitting in the outer ground but the last 4 or 5 times i have been down i sat in the Mal Meninga stand because of the unpredictable weather, even though you are high up it gives a good view of the ground.

We sat in the Meninga Stand but right on the end behind the try line. We left buying tickets too late so there wasn’t much left. I was worried about sitting in what was left of the Gregan stand seats and looking right into the sun. We were actually right opposite the Chookpen in the away supporters bay and there were a lot of roosters fans around us too. I usually hate going to the game here because we have such a terrible record and I always go home disappointed so it was so good to beat them and listen to those whinging raiders fans. I can’t believe how much they booed the ref at half time. They really are a whingy fanbase. It’s a shame you couldn’t make it this year.

Where would he be playing though - He had a greater chance of paying NRL at the Raiders than at the Roosters.

There is also a thing called the salary cap

The same situation at Parramatta for Ethan Sanders who has signed with the Raiders on a 3 year deal from 2025 - another very good up and coming half back - he has Dylan Brown and Mitchell Moses in front of him

• Jarryd played great, will miss him next year.
• Radley awesome at 12
• Whyte looks great at 13 mobile forward, a lot like SST, but a bit more mobile.
• Back 5 really impressive
• Got in a nice arm wrestle with the raiders after their first try. Some improvement with the long kicks.
• We left about 3 tries in that first half we should have scored, which as the season goes on I imagine we will be much sharper with those finishing details
• Canberras first try was arsey, they knocked on the play before too which was missed.
• Canberra played quite well in the first half, the way we were playing could have been a much bigger margin.
• We started strong in second half, then got a bit gun shy after the butcher injury.
• Spencer Leniu played brilliant, hard runs, good controlled aggression, will be well worth the money if he keeps playing like that.
• Our attack seems much looser now Walker has taken over the main playmaking role.
