Congrats to Joe, Kez, Gus and Spence. Kez must be feeling a bit like Steve Bradbery, but it's crazy he hasn't played more Origin already.
Comiz to Ted, but he will have a little more motivation now to lift the main trophy in October and stick it right up em.#We Stand with ourJewish community#

Some odd selections
don’t be surprised to see changes if nsw loose game one
some guys are in form but some?
- teddy fair enough if Edwards goes well
- suaali at left centre? Turbo / best would have been in front of him but I would have gone latrel, tago, ramien and staggs before him
- suaali the luckiest player there
- Jake turbo very lucky
- I think Api korisau the unluckiest players he has been one of the best this year in a bad side and way better then Robson
- love Leniu on the bench (tbh though he only played 3 games but I think a lack of other nsw front rowers performing it forced his hand

There is a lot wrong with this team, in the middle it lacks power runners beyond Haas and Spencer. Jake and McInness are nice guys but are we planning on going out there and trying to tackle our way to an 8-6 win or something? The game has moved on a long way from those days, look at the scores in Origin last year - all winning teams scored 20+. The spine has zero credit at Origin level - Luai and Hynes both have been very poor in their limited Origin appearances - pairing them with a fullback and hooker that have no credentials at Origin level either, just bizarre. Api or Teddy should be in this team with this halves pairing period, probably both. Suaallii and Lomax are picked out of their best positions - why? Joe has certainly improved at centre but when guys like Bradman Best are around and committed to staying in league why on earth would you go with a rookie who is changing code at the end of the season? Lomax is complete rocks and diamonds - nothing about him screams Origin for me, can chase and take a nice bomb from time to time and throw a nice flick pass - but he's also number 1 for negative plays (errors) in the comp, he pretty much set up 2 or 3 tries for us on ANZAC Day, he will do the same for Queensland who will exploit his weaknesses.Last edited by elo; 05-26-2024, 08:49 PM.

A joke that the Australian captain isn’t in the side … Edwards is good … and very consistent … but Teddy still the best by a country mile
Replacing him as captain with Jake? that bloke shouldn’t even be in the side
I wouldn’t be giving NSW much of a chance after this but QLD are decimated presently … Madge’s buffoonery may actually be taken for genius in a couple of weeks lol

Qld will smash that team. Very disappointing for Teddy but like others here I'm a Rooster and that's all I care about. I'll watch the game but no emotional investment.Last edited by Dr. Voodoo Man; 05-26-2024, 10:33 PM.
