If Teddy gets asked to come back for game 2 or 3 I’d tell them to get stuffed
Edwards is great but does have an error or two a game usually unforced dropping a bomb, and does not offer much for assisting tries and X factor
I don’t have an issue with suaali leaving next year but don’t think he deserves to be in calculations at all on form, especially centre where junior pauga outperformed him at centre for us
is injured had not occured would think turbo, Cleary, and Murray would at least be there
was hoping to never see Jerome back but injuries again have given him a chance

Comiz to Ted, but he will have a little more motivation now to lift the main trophy in October and stick it right up em.
IMO this decision could be a weight off his shoulders (one that NOBODY wants IMO as QLD just win every year while we crucify our HB / captain for failing to win).
It's a thankless role and I get sick of all the bullshyte / speculation (same with when Pearce was #7). I like that Teddy can focus on being our club captain without the BS. Edwards may look like a bald IT geek but he's a gun and will gel better with the Penrith boys/alumni.
TBH my main concern with NSW's team is that I don't think the Penrith boys gel with outsiders. I feel there's an Ivan Cleary brand of football that they know intimately and anything else (including passing to boys from outside their systems) feels a bit weird. Just my opinion...

Everyone blowing up about Keary, remember we have Sandon Smith, last time him and Walker played in the halves together they both carved up. Just means we’ll bring Docker-Clay off the bench if for some reason Keary gets called in to play.

You have to know when your time has come.
Edwards is good … not here to thrash him … but Teddy is a freakish legend of modern football … may well be voted an immortal one day … the bloke has been that good
Too many people have zero perspective until well after the fact

From the ABC:
The decision to drop Tedesco for the June 5 series opener at Stadium Australia in Sydney is by far the most notable.
The 2018 Dally M medallist is arguably the best fullback in NSW Origin history and has played a record 22 straight matches for the Blues.
But the Roosters star will become the first Australia Test captain to be dropped from their State of Origin side while still leading the Kangaroos.
Tedesco had been under pressure to keep his NSW spot since early last year, but has been in a rich vein of form for the Roosters in recent weeks.
Despite that, Maguire has opted to reward Edwards for being among the NRL's best fullbacks while winning three straight premierships at Penrith.
Tedesco's axing means Trbojevic will take over as Blues captain, leaving Manly with the skippers of NSW and Queensland — who will be led by Daly Cherry-Evans — on their books.
Meanwhile, Maguire has placed his faith in Hynes despite a horror outing for the Sharks halfback against Penrith on Saturday night that ended with more concerns over his calf.
Hynes failed to get through the match, and underwent scans on the sore leg on Sunday.
Maguire is under pressure to deliver. What's the shortest tenure for a NSW SOO coach?1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.
