Edwards is great but does have an error or two a game usually unforced dropping a bomb, and does not offer much for assisting tries and X factor
I don’t have an issue with suaali leaving next year but don’t think he deserves to be in calculations at all on form, especially centre where junior pauga outperformed him at centre for us

Sua’ali’i at centre is a massive risk. It could seriously make or break him. When there was talk of picking him I didn’t even consider anything other than the wing.

QLD could pick Sam Thaiday as right winger and I’d back him for anytime try scorer. This could be carnage.

Yes a few head scratchers
- Lomax inconsistent
- suaaali wtf selection he gets found out in defence and offers nothing in attack at centre
- Luai turned it on for 2 games
- korisau best hooker with grant in the game but they pick Robson (Brailey and Egan have been better)
- Jake turbo hasn’t done a lot
- Leniu has been good but only played 3 games since coming back and only 40 min

Surprised to see tuilagi over Cobbo - Cobbo has been about the best of the qlds in the backs
still a fast backline though
nsw don’t have any really quick guys while qld have Walsh, Cobbo, Coates, Holmes and hammer who would all be quicker then any nsw back
also if qld don’t pick Fifita that’s a win for nsw

This is such an odd selection - as we watch each week he has so many deficiencies to his game
which may come out next week
expect he will put a shot on or two but not surprised to see him rush in and leave the winger hanging. Or get caught flat footed
not sure if he will be up against Holmes or hammer but they will skin him alive on the edge

There was a big blowup about it a few years ago when one of the Origin teams released an extended bench guy and someone got injured in camp. Then they had to bring in someone else as the original extended bench guy had played a few days earlier.

I thought they’d resolved to not let these guys play NRL after it.

Do you honestly bellieve he deserves this? More a liability then asset atm, provides very little in attack and defence is very questionable at centre
if he gets found out in Origin next week it will be I told you so
