How many seasons in a row is that for us with someone out for the whole year? Feels like the last 5-6 easy.

Good luck on the rehab Egan.
Pretty sure he took a very strong charge a short while after the injury - maybe a set or two later. Probably a 12m hit-up or so. When I saw that, I thought it couldn't have been an ACL. Very tough.

I feel very bad for Egan, and even though he hasn't been that great in recent times, I've always thought he had quite a bit of talent. Will be nice to (assumedly) see more of Wong, though.

Feels like it is just our club that’s gets at least one of these injuries every year, keary,Morris,Collins ,Egan, sitili, toia,Murphy(wasn’t with us when it happened) probably more that I can’t think of.

watched Wong in reserves on Saturday, he was just used as a front rower, but I saw him on the field for most of the match, so he seems to have a big motor.

Thought he’d be used as a more an attacking forward, but he just trooped it up again and again.

You can see on the Brydie Parker (Roosters NRLW) one the actual ACL injury and anguish on her face. Brydie cops the double whammy with a shoulder to the head as well - The Dragons player got 10 in the bin - 2021 NRLW Grand Final the Roosters won

            NRL Physio

Horrible to see, clear concern for ACL injury for Brydie Parker. Non-contact + direction change + clear shift of tibia (lower leg) during stepping motion. Have never seen that combo on video not be an ACL injury. Added shot to the head as well. Thoughts with her

              Tough for Egan
not in our best 17 but our top 22
great depth and unfortunately this time of the year was when he was valuable to fill in for injury and origin etc
will see more of Wong (who deserves to be there) and sitili now

Wouldn’t be a true Roosters season without an ACL. As soon as it happened i thought ACL. I was amazed he continued playing which hopefully indicates it’s not a terrible one and he can get back not long into next season.

                    Poor bugger

I'm obviously not a fan of the Butcher bros but I certainly don't wish them injury

                    Speedy recovery Egan

Terrible news for Egan and the team in general. I remember when he made his debut and everyone on the pen was glowing with praise about how he was our next big thing. He was a Cords replacement because he ran hard and Robbo should pick him every week etc etc. Reminds me of Wong now. It’s funny how opinions change. Anyway here’s hoping for a strong recovery and he’s back for the start of next season.

12 months ago plenty were saying that Whyte was lazy and we should get rid of him. Same for May. Now they all have posters on their walls of them.

That why you have professionals running football/sporting clubs and not rank amateurs

There has been absolutely no update from the club about Billy Smith. He is a part of the first grade squad after all.
