Feels very quick for De La Salle, was only playing SG Ball a few weeks ago. I’d imagine they’d want to get some more minutes into him at NSW Cup level.

Other people, smarter than me, & on bigger coin, make those decisions but it does appear, even at other clubs, there's a real push to get them through young & early & quickly.

I expect Blake Steep to debut. I can't see us only having 2 forwards on the bench, he's in our top 30, and got more minutes (42) than Va'a (15) in reserve grade on the weekend.

Big in for us with Watson being unavailable. Keeps Sandon at 14. Although it would be good to see Sandon get some games at 6 in preparation for next year. I guess his time will come.

Michael Jennings comes from the interchange bench to 18th man, with Zach Dockar-Clay as the remaining player on the reserves list.

Sydney Roosters Academy product Blake Steep comes onto the interchange in place of Jennings, and is set to make his NRL debut as Sydney Rooster no.1231.

The final teamlist will be released tomorrow one hour before kick-off, at 3:05pm.
