Agree, but he is managed by Isaac Moses and Nick refuses to deal with him now

The Roosters are NOT the be all & end all to every player in the NRL.
We go for them & love them but it doesnt mean that all the guys that play NRL feel the same way.
He might of gone for the Knights growing up & wants to play for them.
Thank goodness we all have Mickie here to ground us all

Armstrong has now requested a release from the Knights after signing a contract to stay with them last week. Interesting? Are we still interested?

Ahh ok. Strange. You’d think he’d be chasing an NRL spot.

That's a shame because we a desperate for that type of player with that versatility. Not to mention he played schoolboy footy and good mates with Lachy Galvin, who we are also 'supposedly' after. I like the look of Galvin and a big bodied half would be handy. But he is also managed by Moses so slim chance.

Makes you wonder why any player would tie themself with Moses, knowing he has burnt so many bridges and made so many enemies in the game.

Because most footballers when they start out are a combination of young and stupid so they're likely to believe that F.L.D.B.'s spiel.

Very true but.....Spirit of 66 and a few others were trying to tell me we sign can sign anyone we want...I'm so confused..

Fifita, SJ etc etc. And now even rejected by nuffies like Armstrong.

Gets a run of NRL games
                      Rejects the Roosters
Accepts a 2 year deal with Knights
                      Gets dropped for Sharpe
Requests a release to take up a multi year deal with Leigh in Super league all in one week.

Lachie Galvin at Wests Tigers (recruitment not budging good on them) same thing WTF is wrong with these pea hearted kids. Play 5 games and suddenly think they’re the next Immortal how about some loyalty to the club that gave you the opportunity, before anyone says you would take more money elsewhere that’s not the point it’s a complete lack of character a sense of bloated self entitlement and ****en scum player agents, show some character repay a little faith 18 years old for **** sake 12-15 years of footy ahead unless something catastrophic happens.

**** that leave him in reserve grade until he learns some humility, respect, patience, basics like honouring an agreement, own your decision to commit until 2026.

Put the work in get the struggling clubs out of the cellar how are they supposed to do that paying crazy overs for transfers?

Maybe I’ve missed something but this shit is just unacceptable.

David (softcock) Fifita looking at you also infuriating this stuff if what I’m reading is correct.

Did I say that? That was very silly of me if I did. But people do say some silly things here. I seem to remember you saying some absolutely batshit crazy things here over the years. But that’s OK. It’s a an anonymous forum and it can be therapeutic to release your inner lunatic from time to time. Nobody is going to put you in a straight jacket for expressing your views here.

As for suggestions that we are becoming “the transit lounge” again, I think that might be a bit premature. We would need to see a pattern of over the hill players transiting through the club on short term contracts for that to be true. I think recent history suggests we do pretty well in the player market overall. Missing out on Fifita and some kid from Newcastle in a seller’s market does not mean we’re all doomed.
