Yeh not our typical player profile for a centre but I think we are going to have to make some short term compromises next year around who we play in the centres.

Having an in-game fullback option is a big bonus as well as none of our current wing options have any experience playing there and neither do Toia or Billy Smith.

I agree with theGman analysis that he's very similar to Nick Meaney more than Batemans Bay Rooster assessment that he plays like Ponga. Hence I think there's some precedent that he could make the same move that Meaney has into the centres.

Would need to bulk up a bit for the extra defensive workload no doubt though.

I can confirm the Roosters interest is legit and not just some media BS. A family friend of his tipped me up on it at magic round just before I sat down and watched him bag a hat trick. I was told he was seriously considering it so time will tell.
