Manu will do the job. We don't lose anything with him at FB. But geez our centres are thin with Billy and JS out.

Still gotta win today, still a better team.

Annoying game day distraction but we move on
Manu will kill it at fullback
Still should have enough to take it out! Hopefully a dry track! Chooks by 14

One late change has been made to the side on gameday ahead of the final teamlist.

Captain James Tedesco has been called into the NSW Blues squad for the first State of Origin match on Wednesday night, which sees Joseph Manu take his spot at fullback.

Michael Jennings comes into the centres in Manu's place, while De La Salle Va'a comes into the extended squad.

              Let’s go Easts!

If we win this I think we move into the Top four and are the only team that haven’t had a bye!

Another "should win game". Hopefully we ice this one and set ourselves up for the remainder of the season.

A win today leaves us in a great position. Go Easts.

Todays game is another showcase into why they need origin at end of year or stand off weekends
11 players now out (could have been 12 if Keary not released) plus we have a few injured it really effects the nrl season every year

With Keary and walker both starting and JWH/May starting I hope we can lay a platform to play through the middle and control the ruck.

I have no time at all for Origin. In an already uneven contest, where no teams face the same opposition in total, they strip the 'best' players from the comp for a month and a half. The subjective 'six again' and a quarter of the season stripped of the 'best' players? Total mockery. It's not an even contest in the slightest.

                            Go Easts!

Still think we'll win, but having no Teddy is a big loss. Also just concerned about how distracting it has been for the group this week, with all the Teddy talk and then him going into camp on game-day.

Anyway, I think we'll still win and we normally play better when we're missing players. It's a big game for us with a bye next week, and a few rival top 4 hopefuls slipping up. I expect we'll be very haphazard though.

Not so concerned about losing Teddy as Manu is a good replacement but I am concerned about our defensive fragility on the edges with 2 different centres this week. If Cowboys can exploit that there is a clear path to victory for them.
