So then...these incompetent or corrupt fools must lose their first grade gigs this week...surely??

It pretty much ensured we were denied the opportunity to win the game after all.

Unbelievable!! Where were you last week when Smith gave it to the refs in NZ??????
I just don't get you! And you quite like Smith eh?

They need to stick a freshly retired player into every VR box to consult the ref about a decision. As long as it is not Daley as he is a farken dope.

I'm sick of clear knock ons being awarded as tries. Clear obstructions let go and phantom obstructions penalised. 0 common sense used.

IC needs to address the crisis of poor officialdom which has existed in our game for a long time.

You guys can complain all day long but those results are in the history books now. Luckily we live to fight another day. If the intensity and desicipline remains and Mortimer stays in the halves we could really get a roll on in the second part of the season. Not saying we will win the comp or suddenly be a top 4 team but good things could be just around the corner with a little luck and Braith injuring his back, mysteriously.

It's kinda like getting salt rubbed into your wounds with Harrigon saying it was a try.
The teams gotta use this stuff as motivation and start smashing the opponents putting fear into them, intimidate them into making mistakes, and if we cop a few penaltys for it so what, go harder and make the penaltys count for something, time for the Rooster's to aim up.Cmon Jared lead the way and give Mose some angry pills...

It makes no difference now. Onwards and upwards. Build a bridge and get over it, etc, etc.

It takes away from the fact Mortimer had an awesome run as well!!!

How many players did he beat? At least 4! He was awesome...

I would like to see 3 video refs. Majority decision and discussion between them might bring some common sense decisions.

So that's 5 referees that have been dropped after being involved in one of our matches, 2 vidiots and 3 on-field referees.

With those calls going our way we'd be equal 3rd IMO, instead we are 13th.......criminal.

Even with 3 video refs, you can be guaranteed they'd still get it wrong!!

The video ref should only be used to confirm a successful grounding of the ball. The on-field refs should decide on all other cases. Way too much crap involved in teh decision making process. It's a blight on the game.

It's just sad, the amount of black and white calls which they stuff up.

like in the 2010 GF, brett morris's step into touch which I picked up on sitting on the other side of the stadium but jeff younis couldn't see standing right over him.

I'm sure if the team copping all the dud decisions were media darlings like the Tigers, souffs, Sharks or Knoughts we'd hear a lot more about it. You could guarantee they would start getting a heap of 50/50 calls from now on. Not the Roosters though.

Referee co-coach Bill Harrigan answers your most frequently asked questions from Round 11 of the NRL Telstra Premiership.

What did you think of the decision to penalise Brad Takairangi for raising his elbow in the lead-up to what would have been a try to Roosters halfback Daniel Mortimer?

The video referee got this call wrong. It should have been ruled a try to the Roosters. The video referee believed that there was a raised elbow from the ball carrier in the lead-up to Daniel Mortimer crossing the line, but he got the decision wrong.
