I would like to see 3 video refs. Majority decision and discussion between them might bring some common sense decisions.

Does anybody recall some time ago he featured & advocated for the experiment of a "video-ref bunker" situated at central HQ, whereby 4-5 officials from different league backgrounds would have the sole responsibility of adjudicating on uncertain tries.

Is this the way to go? Would it ensure our game got a higher % of correct calls compared to what we have at the moment? OR
would they hopelessly still get it wrong?

The video ref should only be used to confirm a successful grounding of the ball. The on-field refs should decide on all other cases. Way too much crap involved in teh decision making process. It's a blight on the game.

I really would like to see them gone altogether, but if they must stay, you are spot on the money.

Besides the bum decisions they come up with, all of the delays they cause mean players like Mortimer have little impact around tiring forwards, as fat turds like Goerge Rose get extra rests.
