  • The roll call of idiots

Gonna channel the late great Johnny Tobin here we go…

Joey…love me some manu but he was trash today. Wouldn’t catch bombs on the full and that dumb decision to do the double movement cost us.

young…I mean michael appelby didn’t make that many mistakes. Wtf is wrong with him?

keary… why take the 2 when they were a man down? Changed the whole momentum of the game

sandon smith…he was poor today and that terrible pass straight to the cowboys was crucial

cheese…gassed after the first set and did a stupid ball knock down on the last tackle which was dumb. Does this guy train?

sitili…I mean he has become rubbish. Stupid passes ineffective tackles time to go to PNG brother.

shout out to Pauga Toops Whyte Rads and may who were fantastic.

Cheese is so disappointing for the reported coin he is on. Robinson thought signing him was going to be a master stroke. With the talent he has, Robinson is a bit underwhelming himself.

Yepp…no doubt he is explosive and the boys love him and podcasts etc…I hate watching him standing around after the first defensive set for the ruck to catch up to him. Been a terrible signing thus far

I thought Sitilli was pretty good today.

Most of the rest were shyte.
1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.

"The Bondi Spy" wants to call Joey Manu and Keary and other players "idiots". As part of his thread entitled "The roll call of idiots"

Whatever the word is for "an idiot x 100", if there is one, that is what "The Bondi Spy" is

The only thing Sitili needed to do was nothing stupid but he couldn't help himself with the high-risk offload on halfway.

We need to talk about the fact that Watson is the best #9 at the club

you have a great point here. He is supposed to be a 13/ bench player. Cheese has been appalling and today was the day he should have put his stamp on the season. Meanwhile he seems unfit.

It was probably his best game for us in a couple of years. Ran with real intent and aggression

No more or less than his 12 mates.

                        sometimes things don't work out.
smith made a great dh run and then threw a pass that didn't stick. it was on the first tackle and was a low percentage play but if it sticks he's a hero.
joey's first tackle double movement? it was a real wrestle with the defence and there were a lot of arms everywhere and he must have thought his arms hadn't touched the ground. bit different when you're out there compared to watching it on a screen.
i didn't have a problem with taking the 2 - the problem was with the penalty for the low tackle and then the poor defending. we'd taken the 2 in the first half and it worked alright - we scored a try 5 mins later

The goal kick was the correct decision. It put us 12 in front and nearly served its purpose if not for the dumb penalty at the end. There was never a guarantee we score a try.

I thought Stilli went alright too.

I just don't get how we lose so many games that we should win.

When Teddy and Cooper first came to the club they weren't great and it took time, but they eventually got there. Teddy Roosters player of the year and Cooper life membership.
They weren't Roosters, but they quickly gave everything they had and became Roosters legends.

Cheese has had time to settle in, but he still doesn't have the attitude we need.
He seems more interested in becoming a media legend than a Roosters legend.
