If you accept that one-on-one is a bad defensive ploy vs crash plays then you also accept that there are times outside backs will need to come in off their wing and shut down the play.
Or forwards move out to help the backs in defence, like when Cows stacked their left side ...which they did, when Dom came off his wing.
Panthers scored 3 tries outside Toops.

Liu was out with the backs on our right side in defence, but he was let go, nows he's defending for the Titans.
    Baaah.

Tyrell may, what can you say the guy has a good angry engine. loves a try or two

i noticed cranky kez on the field again today. seems to be doing alot of yelling at players, especially sammy and it appears that not everyone responds to him when he does it.
I noticed Keary giving somebody a bake, but it was well deserved. The set was a whole clusterfark and from memory we got caught on the last tackle. If people think that players don't blow up at each other at times on the field, then they have never played the game at a serious level, it happens all the time and a lot of the time the other player will have a crack back as well. It doesn't mean there is a harmony issue, it just means we have passionate players who expect and want better from their team mates

It's worth noting that none of our players penalised and put on report were charged by the match review committee. JWH and Wong were not penalised at the time as officials missed incident in real time. We have had lots of penalties from Sutton Klein and Gee the last few years that don't result in charges but have a big influence on the game.

Agreed. This is a major problem for us. Being penalised when a penalty wasn't warranted.

I think the worst one in that game was Sam Walker penalised for an innocuous tackle around the legs like you see a thousand times each round simply because a cowboys player stayed down to milk it.
