I can’t believe anyone is defending Suaalii, stupid tackle that will see him sidelined for a month.
The same posters saying it’s fine would be calling for a massive suspension if it was Suaalii the one getting tackled like that

Did you actually see the tackle - no swinging arm - just a ball and all tackle on a player who was falling - to get 4 weeks it would have to deemed a grade 5 high tackle - wreckless.

It was certainly not that - would be surprised if he missed more than 2 matches but the issue will be that it's Walsh and if the NRL step in and put pressure on to have the tackle referred to the judiciary.

I haven't watch any of it aside from a short clip of the send-off (which IMO looks like a complete BS call - he doesn't even make contact with his head!!!)

Worth watching the second half? Clearly not IMO. Then from there... worth watching the rest of the series? Again, clearly not.

Well done QLD. Enjoy your XXXX for the gazillionth year in a row. IMO this is about as interesting as cheering for the Wallabies to win the Bledisloe Cup.

IMO using send-offs for anything other than assaulting and official / spectator or similar level of misdemeanour is an abuse of the rule. It's one of those things the refs have in their back pocket for particularly ugly behaviour... not for poorly timed tackles.
