Sally, I think you’re pretty close to right with that team. I thought Olakau’ato would be good, but I felt he was overwhelmed by the occassion and added little. I’d bring May in for him. I wouldn’t have Jake T in the team either and given how the coach played him, he might agree.

I think luai was ok, Moses needs to come in.
jakes a good bloke, but that was an awful choice for captain by the coach.
Was Latrell available to play, or did Madge not pick him?[/QUOTE]
Fatrell said he was available and wanted to play, but Madge didn't pick him.

Just like my first thought when i saw it, it still is s**t he's absolutely smashed him in the head high on purpose.
Walsh is knocked out in mid air..it's clear to see. To me it looked like deliberate attempt to take him out.
Suaalii on debut had wanted to make a statement early on particularly in defence which affected his overall judgement.

That is when he was dazed. Like Teddy , Reece dropped his overall height when running causing the contact to be higher than intended. Deliberate intention to cause head contact not a justified comment. A bit like when Teddy got knocked out by Siva , same reason and Siva not sent off. Game spoilt by Klein's poor refereeing again.

There is no consideration of mitigating factors anymore, i.e., players slipping or falling or arms striking the shoulder and then hitting a player in the head, for instance.
The issue is that the NRL is worried about future compo claims for concussions similar to those of the NFL as a result of successful class action legal cases in America.
So no matter what the circumstances are, any contact with the head, no matter how it happened, will be penalised on the field or at the judiciary so the NRL can mitigate any claim made against them—oh, we suspended the player and/or fined them, etc.
