Its the only game of the year that the refs and video refs usually dont cane us and the 50/50 calls go our way but still Barba will score two 70m tries at least zipping past Perret for the first then Jigaboo leaving Mini gasping for air

Pearce will make a massive difference to our attack, but i'm worried about the short forward passing game of the Bullscum, players like Kennedy/Masoe/Tasi could get caught out in defence.
obviously we would be a better shot if Captain Fantastic was sent on a permanent holiday.
another area that has been bugging me recently is the backrow, Guerra/Maubs are not rolling up their sleeves when we are under the pump, they are both only willing to stay on the fringes and get involved when the ball is shifted, this is creating a balance problem for our team much like when Anasta was in the backrow, the likely solution to this problem is putting Maubs to right centre, not his ideal position but for team balance that move must happen or one of them needs to start on the bench.
also think this early in his career Moga will be better suited to the wing, will give him more space to move on kick returns, on the weekend he was wasted by receiving the ball when surrounded by 3 defenders every time.
assuming Smith doesn't have the balls to drop Anasta this is the team that we need to go with.
Mini
Moga
B.J
Maubs
Perrett
Anasta
Pearce
Tasi
Friend
JWH
Guerra
Cordner
Arona
FPN (he is rumoured to be available this weekend)
Kennedy (if fit, shouldn't be playing with needles)
Mitchell (would add much needed spark to the team, I like the idea of the 4 forward bench but it doesn't work with Friends skill set)
Takairangi (he adds that offload on the fringe he needs more game time)

I remember I was at that game and all the chooks fans went mad when we won.
We also did the same to Souths 2 weeks before or after with Maubbs scoring the winner through Sandow...

I was there too. I watched the reply numerous times just in disbelief that we could be screwed by the refs that bad. I remember even Phil Gould was on our side that day...
