I think 4 matches is fair, that's what we would be screaming for if it happened to Teddy or the better Joey
That's just it. As far as the NRL is concerned it's open season on Roosters players. The double standards are appalling.

I fear Joe is going to get the "Spence" treatment from other supporters and the media. And holy mouthpieces like Thurston.

It's a perfect storm....Origin loss for NSW, Roosters player, Golden Boy the victim....poor Joe.

We got ya kid...target that trophy in October like Spence is now.

Doesn’t it feel like there would be some heat if we play broncos on the finals

Yes doesn’t it feel like we have been hit hard as well
had 4 out originally then Teddy gets recalled on the chooks match day which we then lost with him out
Keary stayed in camp until day before the roosters game
We then loose suaali for 4 weeks from an origin suspension despite us paying his wage
we nearly lost Spencer with injury as well
seems to stuff up the season

Yep. In fairness though Reece did nothing wrong, but Maam is extremely unlikable.

The whole discourse around it is so toxic.

Anyone that thinks a player goes out to deliberately hurt someone in the head is just kidding.

Joe didn’t do much wrong and is now a super villain that misses a month.

Burgess' swinging arm to take Teddy out of the final a couple years was far more malicious than this. The NRL have lost the plot with their inconsistency.

How a front-on tackle one metre above the ground can be graded as reckless is beyond words, and reeks of face-saving politics to try and justify the send-off.

I have no issue with the send off as long as they are consistent with it. I do have issue with Slater and all his cronies trying to paint it as something it isn't. They are kidding if they think NSW went out to deliberatly knock Walsh out of the game by fair or foul means. Slater is starting to believe that he has reinvented the game of rugby league and is some sort of messiah, he really is annoying with his pompous attitude

Slater's the bloke who intentionally shoulder charged a guy in order to save an almost certain try in a preliminary final and then got off.

I get sick of wolf whistlers in general TBH. Let the appropriate people dish out their penalties and don't try to make it more dramatic than it actually was.

Hopefully we appeal this charge. Needs to be downgraded 100%.

Bring in video of all head high tackles over the past few years and ask where's the consistency.

Joe has entered a guilty plea. He will be unavailable for us until Rnd 20 (Storm), unless we can get SOO game 2 counted.

Be 4 NRL games and back for Storm game - game 2 is after the Dogs game which he would miss if selected for S002

Surely we can given he was suspended while playing Origin?
