Glad to get the win but we need to work on our errors and fix our poor starts in the 2nd half.

Why do we only ever seem to play well when we are down on the scoreboard and it’s the last 5-10 minutes.

We should have put the Eels away tonight when we were 16-0 up

If they only played well when they're down on the scoreboard, or in the final minutes of the game, they wouldn't have lost most of all those games they lost by 8 points or less.

Agreed. I think we missed Cheese tonight. Watto wasn't as effective playing 80 minutes at dummy half. We play much better sharing the load.

Collins was a beast tonight and that tackle from Rads the highlight.

Some of those penalties were robbery. That Manu high shot and JWH tackle around the hips were laughable.

Very evident in games such as that, we really miss an organiser.

11:30 left to play, up by 4 and we go short side on play 2, throw the ball over the sideline. Followed by a silly penalty.
8:45 left to play, up by 4 and we go short side again on play 3 and force a pass with a knock on.

We don’t beat the better sides in the comp if we’re willing to give up field position so cheaply.

It’s just too hard to defend this year to be giving up opportunities like that consistently.

Hopefully Walker continues to grow into the role and learns to control the tempo to suit us like Cronk did.

The penalty against Collins when he gave it to the ref is pure anti Rooster as was the one against Joey in the second half. At least Fox called out the Parra dives.

No it's normally a deflated fan base leaving Gosford. Hopefully not this year. Dogs are actually playing good footy they won't be easy. Hopefully JWH no charge because we will need him. Can't believe some in here think he's a liability - wtf have they been watching for the the last 15 years

Why were we lucky? We were really strong in the first 30 minutes and then Parra played bazball for the next 20. We were a man down for 10 of that and then we lost our centre. We reset ourselves and I honestly never felt we were going to lose. They had truckloads of ball inside our 20 in the 2nd half and we repelled them time after time. I don't think we were lucky, I just think we plahyed tough when it counted

We need to cut out some of the stupidity. Do that and we are contenders. The way the parra were allowed to milk tonight is a blight on the game. The officials were sh!t. Obviously happy with the win and hopefully we go on a roll here with the bullscum, tigpies and st merge to come.

Your point about the milking for penalties when not injured is a good one. It was the only downside to tonights game. We seen Lindsay and even Shaun Lane jump straight up after tough checks. All our guys do, its a rarity in other teams though. Then three or four of their guys stayed down when clearly uninjured. Including Matto....really disappointing.

100% agree. Watto was very good, but Cheese brings a a bit more punch through the middle and is more aggressive in defence, albeit for around 50 mins max. We would be better served with them as a double act.

An angry Collins was fantastic and Gus was mostly awesome, but I’m glad you mentioned Rads as one of our best. He has become our most consistent player this year and has become even better now he’s in the 12 jumper. He was great again tonight.

That penalty for Manu's high shot where that cat flicked his head back wins the softcock of the year award. They should be suspended for that shiit or the bunker should call it back and given us a penalty for simulation. Pathetic.
